The Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race began informally in 1905. The race continued sporadically until 1939 when the Boston Yacht Club teamed with the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron to run the biennial event. The race runs from Tinker’s Gong, off Marblehead to Halifax Harbor, approximately 360 nautical miles away.
The AmeriScape ornament is our signature creation. Each wonderfully detailed ornament is individually hand-cast and hand-painted by Hestia’s dedicated artisans, and can truly be considered a work of art.
