In this two-day workshop, April 27 and May 11, 2022, accomplished artist, basket weaver, Patti DiCarlo Baker will show you how to make a Nantucket Basket vase.
This vase is 3.5” by 6” and woven over glass. You will learn how to set the project up and to weave it during the first session. There is two weeks between sessions to give participants time to weave the vase. Finishing details will be taught in the second session and Patti will answer any questions you might have.
Registration for class deadline is April 11, 2022. The deadline is firm as materials must be ordered ahead of time. Patti learned the art of Nantucket basket weaving and has been diligently working on the techniques and different shapes and styles of baskets. She has also won multiple first place ribbons, people’s choice awards, and best of show for her baskets.
