Saint Francis of Assisi has always been a compelling figure as one of Italy's patron saints and advocate for all of God's creatures, no matter how small. When our newest Pope chose the name of Saint Francis for the first time in history, there was a resurgence of interest in this humble and loving saint.
Our Limited Edition Saint Francis of Assisi figure stands 6-1/4" tall. He is dressed in the simple brown robe with draped fabric around his neck and a rope sash, reminiscent of today's Franciscan friars. He lovingly holds a white dove in the palm of his hand, and has a beautifully serene expression on his face. At his feet are the two animal accessories: a baby doe nestling, and a young fox and two rabbits waiting attentively for him to speak.
